Welcome to School Counseling.  Indian River School District guidance counselors are committed to providing programs and services to help all students develop the knowledge, attitudes, and skills needed to make appropriate educational, career, and personal decisions for academic achievement, career planning, and personal/social development.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Indian River School District school counselors is to provide a comprehensive, developmental, and sequential counseling program that is aligned with the American School Counselor Association National Standards. The counseling program focuses on the needs, interests, and issues related to the stages of student growth through academic, career, and personal/social development. In partnership with students, staff, family, community, and workforce, counselors will prepare students to realize their potential, meet the challenges of their life choices, and develop into contributing members of society.
