The ETS® ParaPro Assessment is now available for at home testing. This new option has been introduced to help prospective paraprofessionals who are unable to take the test at a testing center or prefer to test remotely. Additional registration information and testing requirements for the ParaPro Assessment and at home testing can be found on the ETS website

The Delaware Department of Education is now a Parapro Testing Center in Kent County. It will be offering two dates per month for candidates to take the assessment.

To qualify for a Title I or Instructional Permit, you must have one of the following:

1. High school diploma/GED and a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment
2. Satisfactory completion of a minimum of sixty (60) semester hours of instruction at a regionally accredited institution of higher education
3. Associate’s degree or higher degree
